Carlos Cita

GUITAR, PIANO, BASS, UKULELE

Carlos is a versatile multi-instrumentalist proficient in classical and electric guitar, piano, ukulele, drums, flute, and electric bass. He studied at Berklee College of Music and is a certified ORFF educator. Throughout his career, he has performed with various bands in both Colombia and the U.S., touring extensively and gaining valuable stage experience.
As an educator, Carlos has developed his own teaching method, ensuring that each student’s musical needs are met while nurturing their unique talents. He enjoys working with students of all ages, including adults, and is passionate about fostering a lifelong love for music.
Currently based in Austin, Carlos lives with his wife, Alecita, and their two university-attending children. He also shares his home with a rescued cat and dog. When he’s not teaching or performing, he continues to explore new musical projects and recording opportunities.
